Project manager - strategic sourcing & procurement

Introduction to the job

ASML’s Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) departments is responsible for managing suppliers, securing materials at the right quality and cost, ensuring timely delivery to our factories and customers’ fabs.

To support the execution of our ASML priority initiative roadmap and ERP project we are looking for a Project Manager who can lead complex, cross-sector projects with significant business impact. This role requires influencing without hierarchical authority and managing diverse stakeholders across the organization.

Role and responsibilities

  • Lead one or more complex, multi-disciplinary projects or workstreams, often with several sub-projects.
  • Manage project teams of up to 5 FTE and coordinate with stakeholders across sectors.
  • Deliver projects within agreed time, scope, and budget/resource constraints.
  • Navigate innovative and heterogeneous topics with long-term impact on business processes.
  • Understand interdependencies across departments and sectors to ensure alignment.
  • Engage with stakeholders at operational and tactical levels to drive execution.

Education and experience

  • Master’s degree (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain) or equivalent through experience.
  • Certified in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management.
  • Experience in change management
  • Experience in supply chain environments is a plus.
