How do you make our customers happy?

By strengthening bol’s defenses against cybercrime and making sure we comply with all relevant Laws & Regulations. As our Security Lead Initiatives, you’ll be the glue between the Cybersecurity teams, the platform teams and the tech teams and ensure our Cybersecurity initiatives are being delivered in an aligned way. Making sure everybody’s input is taken into account and making sure we do the best for bol and keeping our customers’ data safe.

The biggest challenge

The biggest challenge is finding the right balance between delivery of the Cybersecurity and compliance initiatives and making sure all stakeholders follow up on their roadmaps and planning. Teams need to find a balance between their roadmaps with innovation and also make sure they comply with the different laws & regulations, and policies. You need to make sure we deliver on these initiatives but in the most efficient possible way so teams know what to do, commit to the due dates but can also focus on other innovations.

What you'll do as Security Lead Initiatives

As our Security Lead Initiatives, you’ll leverage your security expertise and product and stakeholder management skills to ensure we implement our security & compliance initiatives in an aligned and supported way.
Your main objectives? Making sure we comply with the different Security & Compliance challenges and help pushing initiatives forward with excellent stakeholder management and good understanding of the different roadmaps and plannings. As such, you’ll wear the cape of both security superhero and product management virtuoso. To succeed, it’s important that stakeholders and planning aren’t just buzzwords to you; they’re your native environment. JIRA is your trusty sidekick. It’s important that you master the fine art of stakeholder management and understanding pressure and planning. Gathering requirements and understanding priorities? That’s your idea of a productive afternoon. Lastly, the role calls for fluency in product management terminology – standups, roadmaps, and OKRs should all be part of your daily vocabulary. Here’s what you’ll be tackling:

  • Spearhead efforts to make sure we fix our security & compliance gaps in an aligned and coordinated manner by talking to all stakeholders involved
  • Help in communicating with the different teams and departments so they are aware of the workload that is heading their way from a security and compliance perspective
  • Create reports on progress of the initiatives that resonate with all stakeholders
  • Translate IT security priorities (OKRs, projects) into actionable initiatives and deliverables
  • Align and understand the challenges that stakeholders have but making sure we get the job done in time as bol
