Frontend Developer (Angular & CSS) – Data Visualization Enthusiast

About the Role

The Client Solutions team within the VS Advise Clients is the single point of contact for process and automation requests of the Fiduciary department. The team delivers and coordinates integrated end-to-end customer solutions in the field of process and IT automation, thereby guaranteeing excellent service from the business to the (AM) Pension Funds. All this with an IT rationalization and cost efficiency mindset.

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer with strong expertise in Angular and CSS, who is passionate about creating seamless, responsive user interfaces. If you have a keen interest or experience in data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense and Power BI, we’d love to hear from you. We work according to the Scaled Agile Framework in close cooperation with our other Value Streams.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Angular (v18+);
  • Translate UI/UX designs into clean and scalable front-end code using HTML, (S)CSS;
  • Collaborate with our Lead Developer/Architecture Owner, Backend Developers, Business Analysts, Scrum Master and Product Owner;
  • Optimize front-end performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility;
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing of both Business and IT within your DevOps team and support the further future of the team and its value stream;
  • Code, test, and operate the solutions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable frontend components using Angular;
  • Write structured and reusable (S)CSS;
  • Optimize for performance and accessibility (WCAG);
  • Work with tools like Git, Figma, Jira and CI/CD pipelines.

What We’re Looking For

  • You have more than 5 years of working experience in a comparable role (Frontend Development, Angular/CSS/JS) within a complex environment comparable with APG Asset Management (vermogensbeheer);
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering (or equivalent);
  • Solid proficiency with Angular (V18+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS;
  • Experience working with REST APIs and reactive programming (RxJS);
  • Affinity or hands-on experience with Qlik Sense, Power BI, or other BI tools;
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design;
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
  • Familiarity with Agile development and version control (Git);
  • Good command of both Dutch and English language is a must!

Nice to Have

  • Integrate and enhance data visualization platforms such as Qlik Sense and Power BI;
  • Experience in creating custom extensions or widgets for BI tools.

We will offer you, depending on relevant knowledge and experience, a gross salary in the range of 4503 - 6433 EUR based on full-time employment and great employment conditions aimed at flexibility, such as:
