We’re looking for a Capital Collections Specialist to join our Capital and Payments team. You will hold a customer-facing role and will primarily be responsible for contacting merchants using our capital advance product with overdue account balances and arranging appropriate repayment plans.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Demonstrate compassion and empathy for our customers by understanding their situations, needs, and offering solutions.
  • Perform outbound calls to collect on overdue Capital advance accounts by negotiating appropriate repayment plans with customers.
  • Support operations by managing customer overdue accounts and collection activities by identifying the accounts delinquent/Default/Write-off, etc.
  • Manage accounts receivables by ensuring exceptional execution results in the collection of our financial loans.
  • Document collections activities and processes through superior administration skills.
  • Professionally negotiate with consumers and explore money sources to determine the best possible arrangement.
  • Issue dunning letters.
  • Refer to a collection agency once all other in-house collection techniques have been attempted.

What you need to bring:

We’re a team of 8 people located in North America and Europe. If you enjoy the art of negotiation, take pride in your ability to communicate well with others and are familiar with accounting practices, then this is the job for you!

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in collections or a target-driven call centre environment
  • Experience doing collections for a financial institution (i.e. bank, credit card company etc.)
  • Strong communication skills in English
