Description of Assignment
To meet the growing external demand for certified operators and maintenance engineers, Technology’s Content Development & Learning team has defined a training and certification process for the Educate training course portfolio.
For our training portfolio, we have developed training courses, assessment forms, and test matrices. Your assignment will be to support a standardized training development methodology for our newly developed products, aligned with the different levels and roles in service engineering. The output could be a template or a guideline for training development, enabling capability building across all levels within Service Engineering in the most effective way.
You will work closely with our technical trainers, technical authors, and other subject matter experts within the Technology department to develop this standardization (template/guideline) and blueprint.
Department Description
As an intern, you will be part of the Content Development & Learning team within the Technology business function. Technology is responsible for developing and delivering end-to-end customer value products through configurable platforms. This approach reduces engineering effort and improves time-to-market. We focus on bringing platforms to market with Configure-to-Order at the core of our processes.
The Content Development & Learning team is globally responsible for customer training and documentation across all Vanderlande domains (Airports, Distribution, and Warehousing). The department provides professional training and user documentation services to both our customers and on-site teams worldwide.
It is a global team of 45 people, with around 35 team members located at our Learning Centre in Veghel.
Tasks/Responsibilities
In this versatile and practical internship, you will work within the maintenance trainers’ team to develop a blueprint for training objectives based on roles in service engineering.
To achieve this, you will need to design a research program, for example by conducting quality research on the capabilities of service/maintenance engineers.
The next step is to translate these capability levels into clear outcomes for training development related to newly developed products within Vanderlande.
