What does our International Traineeship entail?

You’ll also undertake at least three rotations among our different continental audit teams in the Netherlands and the US. To become a seasoned internal audit professional, you will experience retail from the corporate side by having functional skills training and by working across all facets of our organization via the audits and projects you perform, including Supply Chain, Store Operations, Commerce and other activities of Ahold Delhaize. You will work with leaders across our organization to identify areas of risk, make valuable recommendations and influence positive change; all to help our Company achieve our purpose ~ inspiring everyone to eat and live better, for a healthier future for people and planet.

What are we looking for?

• Hold a Master's degree, or will have it by the start of the traineeship. Any complementary certifications are a plus.
• Up to two years (maximum) of working experience.
• Business Acumen – the ability to understand organizational processes and objectives as well as obtain organizational insight through effective relationships.
• Aptitude and desire to understand how technology (e.g., data analytics, general IT processes, robotic process automation, machine learning) impacts business processes.
• The ability to communicate fluently in English (and preferably one of the following: Dutch, Greek, Serbian, Czech, Romanian or French) and the willingness to travel, including international travel
• Reside in and are eligible to work in the Netherlands.
