Field Enablement Program Manager, Solutions Architecture Enablement

An overview of this role

The Field Enablement Program Manager, Solutions Architecture (SA) Enablement is responsible for assisting with the tactical development and execution of SA enablement programs to ensure the GitLab global SA teams are equipped with the technical depth, resources, tools, and training to effectively differentiate and position GitLab for our customers.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and implement comprehensive technical and skills enablement programs for GitLab's global Solutions Architecture organization
  • Develop and maintain technical and skills training curriculum and certification programs for Solutions Architects at all levels
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Center of Excellence, and field teams to create enablement content for new features and capabilities
  • Lead the development of best practices, reference architectures, and implementation guides
  • Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to measure the effectiveness of Solutions Architecture enablement programs
  • Drive continuous improvement of new team member onboarding and certification programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical knowledge gaps
  • Determine opportunities for improving the learning experience and identify innovative techniques for delivery and consumption, including manager support and coaching resources.
  • Create scalable content delivery methods and learning paths
  • Develop and maintain assessment programs to evaluate Solutions Architect capabilities in product and skill depth.

What You'll Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical enablement, Solutions Architecture, or similar technical roles
  • Deep expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native technologies
  • Proven track record of developing successful SA enablement programs
  • Excellence in content creation and curriculum development
  • Strong presentation and training delivery skills
  • Experience measuring and reporting on enablement program effectiveness
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into effective learning materials
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and technical content delivery platforms
  • Alignment with GitLab Values
