Data Science Internship: Process Analytics and Adherence at ASML

Introduction

The Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) organization is positioned within the ASML Customer Service sector. Our mission is: Deliver materials (parts and tools) to our Customers in the Field on time, in full, and at the right quality and cost. Within the CSCM Business Process Management (BPM) team, we own the CSCM Business Process Framework and support our stakeholders by identifying and driving end to end process improvements required to contribute to ASML’s business priorities. The CSCM processes have recently been mapped and roles and responsibilities and SLAs have been aligned with regional process leads and subject matter experts. It is now time to take the next step by using process analytics to identify process improvements, assess the potential impact of the identified improvements and checking the impact of implemented process improvements. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and gain hands-on experience. 🚀

Your Assignment

You will focus on the following key responsibilities:

  • Setup scalable process adherence measurement and process adherence dashboard, visualizing the adherence to the CSCM processes per ASML location;
  • Regular alignment with process owners, regional process leads and subject matter experts to identify data points for measuring process adherence and assess the overall completeness and efficiency of our processes;
  • Support with process analytics to identify process improvement opportunities and assess their potential impact.

This is a bachelor or master apprentice internship for at least 5 months for minimum 4 days a week (2 days onsite). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.

Your profile

To be a fit for this assignment, you:

  • Are a bachelor/ master student in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or similar;
  • Have knowledge of working data analytics tools (PowerBI or Spotfire);
  • Have affinity with data analytics, process mining, and business processes ;
  • Are outgoing, proactive, well-organized, stress resilient;
  • Have great communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Other requirements you need to meet

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you’re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
