Join ASML as a Supply Chain Analyst with Programming Expertise

Introduction to the job

In this role, you’ll automate operational processes using Java and other technologies to drive touchless execution and smarter logistics.

You’ll collaborate with global stakeholders to enhance tooling that supports ESG goals, including the shift to boat shipments, and help shape our intelligent ordering engine for service materials. You’ll also contribute to signal-based solutions that improve supplier responsiveness and supply chain resilience.

By collaboration with business stakeholders scattered over multiple departments and geographic areas, you are the driving force to improve the customer supply chain.

Role and responsibilities

This job is a combination of expanding the scope and functionality in the automation tooling used and maintaining the current automated landscape (about 70/30)

Automation improvement activities

  • Automating operational activities by enhancing our software application to support the operational activities
  • Develop automation roadmap in alignment with stakeholders and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Driving and implementing the changes throughout the organization by continuous collaboration with stakeholders

Operational activities

  • Work together in a team of 7 programming analysts to together ensure automated activities are executed on time
  • Resolve bugs and issues in the running automation
  • Maintenance activities of the application landscape

Education and experience

Relevant Bachelor or Master degree (e.g. Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Operations Management & Logistics, Supply Chain or Econometrics, Applied Mathematics) with IT background

  • Proven knowledge and experience in object oriented programming (preferably in JAVA, but other languages are welcome)
  • Expert in data analysis
  • 2-5 years relevant experience in Service Supply Chain (demand and/or supply), Operations, Procurement, or Engineering area
  • Familiarity with ERP system, preferably SAP ECC, is a strong plus
  • Expert in Microsoft Office
  • Analytical and able to organize and prioritize own workload
