How you’ll help us.

Based at our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will be reporting to the Manager IT Infra/WHS and as part of the role, you’ll:

• Coordinate both internally and with different suppliers regarding actionable insights coming from our global 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC).
• Pro-actively suggest and implement improvements to further enhance the security of the infrastructure and application landscape within the EMEA region.
• Regularly ensure that our users are aware of the possible risks and understand what is required of them (including reporting on the status).
• Act as the first point of contact regarding security-related matters within the EMEA region (including performing a first assessment in case of possible data breaches).
• Assist IT colleagues within the EMEA region on questions regarding patch management, endpoint protection, Business Continuity Plan (BCP), security assessments, etc.
• Help to create a strategic roadmap for EMEA to further mature our IT landscape from a security perspective.
• Act as a representative of the EMEA team regarding information security towards the global ASICS team and possibly Information Security Officers in other regions.

More about you.

• Qualification in a relevant field (computer science, information security, or related).
• Several years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. 
• Extensive knowledge and practice in security incident management.
• Formal Information Security related training, or the desire to attend such training sessions, soon after joining ASICS.
• You bring experience in collaborating and coaching colleagues in the security domain.
