About the role

As part of our fast-growing Marketplace team, you'll play a key role in driving the performance of our third-party sellers and improving the overall customer experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting within a large organization, with real impact from day one.

As a Data Analyst in the Marketplace team, your responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing Marketplace performance: Dive into complex datasets to identify opportunities for growth and optimization across product assortment, pricing, fulfillment, and seller performance.
  • Providing actionable insights: Collaborate with category managers, partner onboarding teams, and business development to turn data into strategies that improve seller success and customer satisfaction.
  • Optimizing Marketplace operations: Build and implement reporting tools that enhance visibility on KPIs like GMV, take rate, delivery speed, and return rates. Support automation of operational processes using data-driven approaches.
  • Building dashboards: Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to track seller performance, product trends, and customer behavior across the Marketplace.
  • Partnering cross-functionally: Work closely with the central Data & Analytics team, Marketplace Business Development, and Tech teams to align data needs and drive scalable solutions.
  • Contributing to innovation: Support experiments and A/B tests to validate new Marketplace features and improvements.

Your Profile

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to make a measurable impact. You are both analytically sharp and business-minded. You love transforming data into real business value—especially when it helps a growing ecosystem of partners and customers.

We also expect:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field;
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a data analyst (preferably in e-commerce or marketplace environment);
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python or R;
  • Experience with Power BI or Looker;
  • Understanding of cloud data platforms (GCP/BigQuery preferred);
  • Excellent English (Dutch is a plus);
  • Experience in managing data projects, with strong communication skills to influence stakeholders.
