Product Owner Product Assortment – Shape the Future of Heineken’s Business Platform!

As the Product Owner Product Assortment, you will take the lead in shaping a cutting-edge business platform that will power +40 markets, as part of Digital Backbone (DBB), Heineken’s largest transformation programme. This is your chance to make a tangible impact by translating business needs into high-value strategies, leveraging technology and innovation to create a seamless and scalable product assortment process.

What You’ll Do

You will play a crucial role in defining the strategic vision, development, and continuous optimization of the Product Assortment platform. Your leadership will ensure alignment with business objectives and seamless integration with DBB’s processes and systems. As the primary connection between key stakeholders—including DBB teams, Global Sales, OpCos, the E-Business organization, and technical teams—you will drive priorities, deliver value-driven solutions, and ensure the platform supports our long-term strategic ambitions.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Drive value & strategic alignment: Own the product roadmap, value proposition, vision, and guiding principles for the Product Assortment platform.

  • Own the user experience: Collaborate with business teams and the DBB programme to define and refine user requirements into clear, actionable User Stories.

  • Define business requirements: Identify and capture functional, regional, legal, compliance, and other essential business needs.

  • Manage the full product lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end product journey, ensuring value measurement, KPI definition, and ongoing optimization.

  • Enhance user experience through insights: Identify customer pain points, prioritize backlog items, experiment with new features, track performance, and optimize continuously.

  • Communicate & align: Ensure clear and consistent updates for DBB, Product Teams, Tribes, and Business stakeholders regarding roadmaps, business impact, and evolving user needs.

Who You Are

We are looking for a dynamic professional who thrives in leading teams and managing diverse stakeholders through Agile leadership and facilitation. You bring expertise in customer-focused technology, Agile methodologies, and Scrum, combined with strong strategic and analytical thinking.

Your profile:

  • Educational background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in business or engineering.

  • Experience: Around 7+ years of experience, with 5+ years in digital product management.

  • Analytical mindset: Sharp problem-solving skills with a history of structured thinking.

  • Sales & digital commerce expertise: Understanding of how digital solutions drive commercial success.

  • Stakeholder management pro: Ability to align diverse stakeholders and ensure value delivery.

  • Language skills: Fluent in English.

What’s in it for you – let’s uncork:

  • Competitive salary between €7600 and €9800 (gross per month based on your skills and your experience), and an excellent pension scheme
  • On top of your salary, yes there is a holiday allowance and a bonus too!
  • HEINEKEN is an international company with all the related perks: (inter)national career opportunities, ability to go places and diverse projects.
  • We focus on developing HEINEKEN and ourselves: knowledge sharing is key and there is dedicated time for professional development through workshops, community sessions, Microsoft/Databricks courses/certifications and learning days.
  • HEINEKEN embraces a hybrid working environment moving forward, with flexibility to define how often you are in the office.
