As a Process Control & Data Analysis Engineer you will lead quality control, process validation and data-driven optimization across our flex fabrication workflow. By implementing robust diagnostics and analyzing yield trends, you’ll ensure high-yield production—and work closely with the Manufacturing team to transfer improvements and train operators. We’re looking for someone who truly understands what’s happening on the manufacturing floor – far beyond a desk – and can help us make our processes clear, measurable and ready to scale.

At Delft Circuits, we are enabling the quantum revolution. Our mission is to solve the hardware bottlenecks of the quantum industry by designing and producing high-quality, scalable I/O solutions. Our flagship product, Cri/oFlex®, is the world’s first fully integrated cryogenic I/O solution tailored to quantum computing and quantum technology applications.

Based in Delft, we are a diverse team of engineers, physicists, and innovators pushing the limits of science and technology. We combine deep technical expertise with an open, collaborative culture—where ideas are shared, challenges are tackled head-on, and impact is real.

From hands-on lab work to supporting our customers scale their quantum computers, at Delft Circuits, your work truly matters.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Process Control & Validation: Establishing in-line/end-of-line quality control methods (microscopy, electrical tests, witness chip design) and validating updated process flows
  • Data & Yield Analysis: Collecting and analyzing process and yield data; identifying trends and driving continuous improvements
  • Volume Testing & Troubleshooting: Executing lab-scale volume tests, collaborating on root-cause investigations, and resolving manufacturing issues
  • Process Transfer & Training: Packaging optimized flows into clear guidelines and training of the Manufacturing team for consistent implementation.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nanotechnology, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years hands-on in high-tech lab/fab/manufacturing
  • Proven process control and quality control skills (FMEA, Six Sigma, DoE)
  • Strong data-analysis proficiency (Excel, Python)
  • Clear communicator with training/documentation experience

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with flexible substrates or cryogenic-rated materials
  • Formal training on Design for Six Sigma, Lean, or Six Sigma certification

Why Join Delft Circuits?

  • At Delft Circuits, we work as a team to develop cutting-edge hardware for quantum technologies and you will be pioneering in cryogenic-electronics projects and be part of an international team. We offer a collaborative environment that values inventive “beyond-the-box” thinking and where you’ll find:

    • 1-year contract with intention to extend
    • Fulltime position (36 hours per week)
    • A competitive salary based on experience € 47.936,05 – € 60.905,52 per year, including 8% annual holiday allowance in May
    • CAO Metalektro
    • Pension scheme (PME)
    • Travel reimbursement (choose between € 0,23/km or public transport subscription)
    • 30 vacation days per year

You’ll be working from our headquarters at the Kabeldistrict in Delft, featuring a 200 m² lab, a workshop, dedicated assembly and testing areas, and a modern office space.
