Fooditive is a biotechnology company specializing in precision fermentation and enzymatic bioconversion to develop sustainable food solutions. We are looking for a Project Lead to drive execution, coordination, and oversight of a key fermentation initiative. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to align cross-functional teams towards successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, solutions-driven, and capable of managing technical workflows while ensuring project milestones are met efficiently.

Role Overview

The Project Lead – Biotech Fermentation will be responsible for:

• Leading project execution and ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule.
• Managing cross-functional teams and coordinating technical workflows.
• Overseeing fermentation trials, process development, and scaling activities.
• Driving problem-solving initiatives and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

• Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives.
• Organize and coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, process development, regulatory, and operations) to maintain efficiency.
• Track project progress, manage timelines, and proactively adjust plans as needed.
• Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate project disruptions.

Technical Oversight & Process Management

• Oversee fermentation and bioprocess development to ensure scalable and efficient execution.
• Maintain structured workflows, documentation, and data tracking for informed decision-making.
• Work closely with R&D teams to optimize process parameters and troubleshoot challenges.
• Manage material and resource planning, ensuring technical requirements are met.

Regulatory & Confidentiality Compliance

• Ensure all project activities align with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality over Fooditive’s technical processes and intellectual property.
• Oversee documentation control, ensuring sensitive project data is managed securely.

Key Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in biotechnology, fermentation, or industrial bioprocessing, with at least 1 year in a project leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage and execute technical projects in fermentation, bioprocess development, or precision fermentation.
• Able to work in small team in Start-Up environment.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate teams, manage project timelines, and ensure smooth execution.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a structured, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Strong attention to detail in managing technical, financial, and compliance-related aspects of projects.
