• Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,381 and EUR 7,687 (scale 10) for a 36 hour week

You and your job

Combating money laundering and terrorism financing are important topics for society and for our organization. As FEC Tech, we are technology partner for expert department FEC Investigations whose mission is "to detect the undetected." By working with the FEC Investigations Data and FEC analysts with different domain expertise, you develop data products to contribute to the aforementioned mission. Machine learning, pattern discovery and validation are part of your daily work. You need statistical knowledge, an analytical mind, and pragmatic operational skills. Your work will lead to the improvement of models and to knowledge that is shared with the rest of the FEC organization to make Rabobank more robust against misuse of the bank’s financial products.

Your data expertise is important for the team; but conversely, you will also learn a lot from the knowledge and experience of your team members and FEC Investigation colleagues. You will be part of a FEC Tech Squad focused on FEC Investigations.

Practical Examples

• You contribute your data products to our investigations analytics platform. This platform contains data of many internal and external sources which contains internal banks data as well as external data sources
• You apply AI and Machine Learning for FEC Investigations
• You are sparring partner of FEC Investigations analysts, both FEC and Data analysts.
• Together with domain experts, you discover new modus operandi for criminals in the field of Financial Economic Crime

You and your talent

• You have completed relevant university education in the fields of Data Science, Econometrics, Mathematics or similar fields
• You have at least five years of experience with advanced analytics, preferably in cloud environments.
• Relevant experience with and knowledge of Python, PySpark, Spark, SQL
• You have a good command of the English language and preferably, Dutch
• You are interested in algorithms, logic, AI, data modelling, machine learning, language technology, etc
• You are a team player, structured, creative and eager to deliver data products
• You are driven to protect our customers, society and the bank itself from FEC
• You are familiar with agile way of working
