Join the Integrated Warehouse & Distribution (IWD) Center of Excellence – Data & Insights to drive innovation in warehousing and logistics through data analytics, automation, and AI adoption.

This is a global, unique opportunity to gain end-to-end exposure to integrated supply chain operations—ideal for someone eager to make a tangible impact with high ambition and a growth mindset.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to turn data into actionable insights, improve performance, and support transformation initiatives.

Your role:

  • Analyze transport and warehousing data, develop dashboards, and translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
  • Support Lean-driven improvement initiatives and help optimize processes using automation and AI technologies.
  • Assist in managing supply chain projects: tracking milestones, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering insights.
  • Document findings and best practices to support continuous improvement and standardization.

You're the right fit if:

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Science/Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with a foundation in data analytics, statistics, and business management.
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Tableau), Lean/Six Sigma, or project management is a plus—especially if demonstrated through coursework or experience.
  • Proactive, structured, and results-oriented, with strong communication skills in English.
  • Passion for digital innovation in supply chain and logistics.

In return, we offer you

  • Real-world experience in global supply chain transformation.
  • Hands-on exposure to tools in data analytics, automation, and AI.
  • Opportunities to witness operations firsthand through on-site factory and warehouse visits.
  • Mentorship and collaboration with international cross-functional teams.
  • Opportunity to create measurable impact in warehousing and distribution.
  • While this is a non-thesis internship, you’re encouraged to leverage Philips’ ecosystem and network to support your academic research or thesis.

Our intern remuneration package:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300 net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255 net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) needs to be more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €145 net.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This role is an office role.
