Business economics | finance internship: Business analyst capital efficiency

Introduction

Are you a student in Business Economics, Finance or a related field? Do you have an affinity with business analytics, data analysis or business intelligence? If yes, this internship could be interesting for you!

ASML’s Capital Efficiency department manages worldwide business insights and control for invested capital. We do this with a team of highly professional and motivated people based in Veldhoven, Berlin and Wilton.

Your assignment

As a Business Analyst intern you will work as a full member of the Capital Efficiency team. You will work on projects and processes in the area of inventory management, CAPEX management and worldwide balance sheet analytics. You will have end-to-end responsibility for reporting tasks as well as ad-hoc analyses.

Your profile

To be the perfect match for this internship, you:

  • Are a bachelor student from university level, or a master student in the field of Business Economics or Finance;
  • Have an outstanding academic record and have proven affinity with topics that are related to business analytics, data analyses and or business intelligence;
  • Are motivated to work in a high-tech company and have a keen interest to develop your practical skills in a challenging and dynamic business environment;
  • Have strong analytical and communication skills, are capable of working independently with high accuracy and able to handle a high level of responsibility.
  • Have excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

This is a full time apprentice internship with a minimum duration of 6 months with sufficient flexibility to spend time on university (course)work.

Other requirements you need to meet

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. In case you’re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
