Senior Finance Analyst - Intercompany Pricing

We have an exciting new job opportunity at our location in Haarlem and are looking to hire a Senior Finance Analyst - Intercompany Pricing.

Welcome in our team

Join our team and play your part in one of the two teams supporting transfer pricing activities for all our company's subsidiaries. A team based in the US supports pricing for Human Health in the Americas regions, while our team based in Haarlem supports Human Health for the rest of the world and the Animal Health business globally.

We work in coordination with the broader Finance group in Haarlem - Hub Finance, Cost of Sales and Inventory (COSI) with 40 people, global and regional tax teams, global and regional master data management teams, and various local finance teams. This counts for about 90 legal entities! Our Finance department brings together our financial perspectives into our overall strategic and tactical decision making. Purpose of the role

You will contribute to a broader vision to save and improve lives by enabling the distribution of life-saving products across the global for both the Human Health and Animal Health business. You will add value to the team and the business through effective management of legal entity profitability.

Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Ensure that in-scope Financial Supply Chain (FSC) maps and intercompany prices (transfer prices) are accurate and updated on a timely basis;
  • Provide expertise and support on all things FSC and intercompany pricing, such as tax deferrals and VAT impact, including support for projects (such as SAP implementations, site conversions) and training;
  • Lead coordination of reviews, prepare and analyze profitability reporting and true-up processing for the hub/supplier entities;
  • Lead coordination and run Intercompany Pricing initiatives or projects such year-end activities and other tax driven initiatives;
  • Oversee proper value for customs purposes (VCP) calculations for intercompany flows, as needed and relevant;
  • Develop and recommend new and/or improved methods and policies for managing intercompany prices.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Finance or Accountancy. A Master degree in business Economics, Finance or Accountancy is preferred;
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in finance, taxation, or (cost) accounting. Complex project experience within accounting, FP&A and/or ERP systems are an advantage.
  • Highly organized, pays attention to details, on point stakeholder management and excellent analytical skills;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory and able to work across different cultures (D&I is a huge value to us);
  • This is financial tech savvy so you need to be highly experienced in SAP, Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Query.
