As a Supplier Development Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing mechanical suppliers across Europe. Working closely with suppliers, category managers, and buyers, you will drive the development of supplier capabilities, aiming to build stronger, more optimized partnerships.

This is what you bring to the team

You are an experienced Supplier Development Engineer with a strong mix of technical expertise and interpersonal skills. You excel in communication, both in content and collaboration, helping to build and maintain strong relationships. With a solid background in mechanical engineering and experience working with mechanical suppliers, you play an important role in bridging technology and partnership.

In addition, you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset
  • Willingness to travel within Europe
  • Experience with mechanical manufacturing processes, including milling, grinding, surface treatments and CNC machining
  • Fluency in Dutch, English, and German
