WE ARE DENIM HEADS.

We love denim. Live and breathe it. It’s in our DNA. At G-STAR, we see no limit to what denim can do. We believe it can be a force of progress and innovation for both people and planet. How? By hiring the most creative, curious, and caring minds. People who think beyond fashion. Bringing big ideas to big challenges. Driven by possibility. Those who work hard, make mistakes, but always continue to grow. Denim is in our DNA, our people are our stitching. Join the denim heads making raw denim!

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment and welcome applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of background, identity, or experience.

HERE'S WHAT WE'LL DO TOGETHER:

Is your passion for denim as high as ours? Do you have an affinity with SEO and e-commerce? In this internship, you will learn all the ins and outs of optimizing an internationally operating e-commerce website from a content and technical point of view.

As the SEO Intern, you will report to the SEO Specialist and work closely with our digital content and marketing team to create engaging content, optimize web pages, and support the operational side of SEO campaigns. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in both content development and the technical aspects of SEO. You have an eye for detail and work to ensure high levels of site hygiene are maintained.

This is a perfect role for candidates wishing to pursue a career in web content and/or digital marketing in the future. You will gain hands-on experience in managing the SEO channel for a global fashion brand.

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Copywriting: Writing and editing SEO-friendly content (blog articles etc.) to enhance the brand’s authority on fashion, sustainability, and of course denim.
  • Research: Cooperating with different teams such as design, product, digital content, and marketing to develop and execute long-form content strategies that are according to SEO best practice (E-E-A-T) and align with the brand tone of voice.
  • Content Scheduling: Coordinating with the content team to schedule and publish SEO-optimized content on the website.
  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for SEO processes and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency within the team.
  • Tool Management: Assisting in the setup and management of SEO tools and software, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
  • Competitor Monitoring: Keeping track of competitors’ SEO activities and compiling reports to inform the team’s strategies.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • You are doing a Bachelor / Master in Marketing / Communication / Business Administration.
  • Eye for details.
  • Hands-on and pro-active.
  • Basic understanding of SEO for e-commerce and its drivers.
  • Fashion? You live and breathe it.
  • You are available full-time (40hrs per week) for 5 to 6 months starting in August 2025.
  • You are enrolled at a university or college in the Netherlands or EU, during the whole length of the internship. Unfortunately, we cannot provide immigration support for internships at this time.
  • If you are a non-EU student in The Netherlands, you are in possession of a mandatory internship assignment.
  • You are already living in the Netherlands and are in the possession of a BSN, or in a process of getting one.
  • If you have a strong personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, we’d love to meet you!
