The learner is at the centre of everything we build. The AB&C Learning & Culture specialist ensures that the AB&C procedures is accompanied by an up-to-date training curriculum and training material in close collaboration with our Global FEC Learning team. Your role will be to further strengthen the AB&C knowledge and skills across the Rabobank globally. By offering a wide range of learning solutions in different set-ups, we encourage autonomy and provide the possibility to shape individual learning paths, focusing on optimal learning outcomes for the different learning preferences. This role is suitable for someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, who does not hesitate to think outside of the box, and someone who enjoys working with various stakeholders globally.

You and your job

As a Learning and culture specialist, you will work in a diverse team of AB&C professionals consisting of risk managers, process managers etc. where you play a critical role in ensuring that Rabobank meets requirements of and effectively manages AB&C risks by means of up to date learning and awareness program within the control framework. You have the opportunity to contribute to the vision on and Global development and implementation of a newly established department. As part of your role, you will lead the AB&C learning and culture program with the goal of developing a holistic AB&C learning and culture program. You will make a meaningful contribution during multi-disciplinary meetings with various stakeholders in steering globalization of the AB&C framework as well as the set-up of a continuous improvement cycle. Your proactive approach is crucial to reach the AB&C purpose: Together we safeguard our customers, the bank and society by detecting and preventing AB&C violations.

Your top responsibilities

  • You translate regulatory requirements into global learning;
  • Support Global Learning with writing of AB&C content for training and maintaining them;
  • Providing training sessions when needed;
  • Develop and maintain the AB&C culture awareness program;
  • Contribute to the team’s design and monitoring of the continuous improvement cycle.

You and your talent

Customer orientation, organizational sensitivity, complex problem solving, and stakeholder management are indispensable for this position of Learning and Culture specialist. In addition, it is important that you recognize the checklist below:

  • Academic level of thinking and working with 3-5 years of relevant AB&C specific experience;
  • Experience in the learning and development domain, understanding various training method;
  • You have sufficient conceptual insight into the FEC/AB&C focus area and the associated / appropriate risk policy, risk management, methodologies and techniques;
  • Ability to work independently and to communicate and report effectively to management;
  • Proven experience in the execution of AB&C risk and awareness programs;
  • Capable of building and maintaining solid business relationships with a large stakeholder field;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Experience guiding and working with subject matter experts, instructional designers and creative teams to design and develop training i.e. e-learning; video, animation, infographics to classroom courses would be beneficial.
