Job Overview

We are looking for a data-driven, highly analytical, customer-obsessed Product Analyst to support the Physical Product team of our newest brand, Factor: a healthy, ready-to-heat meal delivery service.

This role will be responsible for developing hypotheses and deep-diving into key problem spaces, returning with data-driven insights that will help inform our product strategy and priorities across Europe. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will work between our Culinary R&D, Menu Planning, Product Operations, and Product Strategy teams to ensure we are constantly deepening our understanding of who our customers are and how we can better serve their core needs. While data-drivenness is at the heart of this role, we are looking for someone who has a good intuition for user experience and behaviour as well, and who can tie data back to the real world or come up with relevant hypotheses even with low signals.

Responsibilities

  • Deep dive into internal data sources (e.g. recipe feedback, customer surveys, cohort analyses, etc) to develop and test hypotheses about customer behaviour
  • Identify gaps in our current product offering; use external data to conduct market research and identify compelling opportunities for our Culinary R&D team to pursue next
  • Develop and manage data pipelines and dashboards for use by the rest of the Product team, enabling others to be more data-driven
  • Generate periodic reports that summarize Product KPIs and key insights around customer preferences, needs, and behaviours; share with stakeholders across the Product team and the rest of the organization
  • Be a data champion for the organization: occasionally support in automating processes, building useful models (e.g. for planning), performing complex analysis, and providing meaningful and actionable insights to increase product performance

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a highly quantitative / analytical role (e.g., Product Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Consulting, or similar)
  • Proficiency with SQL and the ability to write complex queries to extract, analyze, and visualize data
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) to improve access to data and to communicate insights effectively
  • Strong communication skills: you are able to synthesize your complex analyses into digestible narratives that are tailored to different audiences
  • Strong business acumen: you translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you are highly resourceful, love owning problems, and find ways through obstacles
  • Experience in consumer-facing digital products, e-commerce, or food delivery is a plus
  • Knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis is a plus but not required
  • Curiosity for and familiarity with AI tools is a plus

Why you'll love it here:

  • Freedom to initiate, execute and implement your own ideas
  • Lots of learning and development opportunities
  • 24 holidays based on 40 hours per week per year, pro rato
  • A hybrid work setup - with roughly 2 days in our Amsterdam office
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses to the office if you live more than 5 km from the office with a maximum of 40 km one-way.
  • A discount on your weekly, Factor, HelloFresh and/or Green Chef box in the Netherlands
  • Healthy lunches, fruit and snacks in the office
  • Competitive salary and pension scheme
  • Social activities with our culturally diverse team!
