Introduction

As Physical Security intern your main responsibilities are supporting the Physical Security Team in creating dashboards and reporting for stakeholders, answering (ad hoc) questions concerning physical security, administrative support with respect to physical security processes and support with development of physical security controls (e.g.: policies, procedures, guidelines, standard operational procedures and requirements).

Your assignment

During your internship at ASML, you will support the team with their daily activities and projects. Besides that, some key deliverables include:

  • Creating and update an intern guide regarding your activities and responsibilities for future interns.

  • Be involved in daily physical security operations such as execution of physical security assessments, assistance and execution of physical security project activities, providing the business with adequate advice with respect to compliance.

The team is open for flexibility and your input on what you would like to learn during your internship. This is a bachelor and master internship, for both apprentice and a graduation project for minimum 6 months (preferably 12), minimum 4 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.

Your profile

To be a perfect fit for this assignment, you

  • Have a background in Safety and Security studies, Security Management or something related;

  • Are fluent in English, both oral and written;

  • Have an effective communication style and are able to connect with relevant stakeholders;

  • Have excellent organizational skills and attention for details;

Other requirements you need to meet

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you’re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
