Internship Opportunity: Sales Assistant Intern

We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant Intern to join our team in Hoofddorp, NL. In this role, you will support our regional sales and operations team with day-to-day administrative tasks, assisting in ensuring smooth order processing, internal coordination, and timely deliveries.

This is an excellent opportunity for students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in international sales support, logistics coordination, and customer communication within a fast-paced and international business environment.

What You’ll Learn and Do

As a Sales Assistant Intern, you will be closely involved in supporting our overseas sales operations. You’ll learn how orders are processed, tracked, and delivered from start to finish—working with departments across the business including finance, R&D, supply chain, and logistics.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist regional sales with day-to-day follow-ups on customer orders and shipments
• Handle data entry, order review, and unlocking processes in various overseas order systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Communicate with internal teams (finance, R&D, supply chain, customs, logistics) to coordinate smooth order processing and on-time deliveries
• Respond to basic customer inquiries regarding order status, documentation, and shipping schedules
• Support the maintenance of pricing lists and customer records
• Prepare and update internal sales and logistics reports
• Help with other sales-related administrative tasks as needed

You’re the ideal candidate if you

• Are currently enrolled in a Dutch higher education institution and can provide a valid internship agreement for the duration of the internship
• Are interested in sales, customer service, international trade, or supply chain coordination
• Are detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in communication
• Are available for 6 months, 3–5 days per week
• Are comfortable working with Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Are fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written)
