Today, there are over 2,100 certified B Corps in the EU and 79,000+ users of the B Impact Assessment. Our work is supported by a network of certified B Corps, country partner representatives, and the B Lab Europe team, which coordinates strategy, processes, and activities across the region.

Overview

B Lab Europe is looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented Senior Digital Learning Operations Coordinator to join our Operations Team. In this role, you’ll manage the backend of our online training platform—overseeing user onboarding, course deployment, coordination with tech providers, and day-to-day platform operations. You’ll also support internal teams with digital tools, manage external contributors, and help run our training marketplace.

This position is part of the Operations Department, which plays a key role in enabling B Lab Europe’s mission by ensuring smooth internal operations across finance, HR, legal, IT, and administration. You’ll help scale our digital learning efforts and contribute to the growth of the B Corp movement across Europe.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Platform Management & Operations (30%)

  • Serve as the main administrator for our internal and external learning platforms (LMS).
  • Managed user onboarding and platform maintenance and resolved technical issues.
  • Coordinate with our tech provider to implement updates, improvements, and new features.

Course Deployment & Support (20%)

  • Upload and organize new training content with the content team.
  • Provide technical assistance to internal teams during course creation and publishing.

Marketplace & User Experience (20%)

  • Oversee the user journey on our training marketplace (hosted on Shopify or a similar platform).
  • Monitor and report on platform usage, user engagement, and course sales to guide improvements.

Freelancer & Vendor Coordination (15%)

  • Manage timelines and deliverables with external freelancers supporting content and platform work.
  • Ensure outsourced work aligns with platform standards and quality expectations.

Internal Tools & Learning Support (15%)

  • Provide assistance on internal learning tools and systems that improve operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the People & Culture team to support the technical setup of internal learning initiatives.

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS) or similar digital platforms.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to manage backend systems, resolve issues, and support platform integrations.
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors and freelancers, including briefing, quality control, and timeline management.
  • Familiarity with Shopify or other digital commerce tools (no coding required).
  • Comfortable working with data—able to track, analyze, and report on platform performance and KPIs.
  • Highly organized and reliable, with a structured approach to managing systems and support processes.
  • Bonus: Interest or experience in audiovisual production, graphic design, or digital communication.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a curiosity for using emerging technologies to improve learning experiences
  • Understanding of design thinking and human-centered design principles.

This job is interesting for you if you:

  • Are a systems thinker who thrives on making tools and platforms run smoothly.
  • Enjoy wearing both strategic and operational hats—coordinating improvements while also getting into the nitty-gritty.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate easily with tech teams, creatives, and content creators.

Are excited about the intersection of learning, innovation, and technology in a mission-driven environment.

What we offer:

  • The salary for this role is €48,500 per year (including holiday allowance), adjusted based on the location of work and applicable benefits.
  • A four-day workweek (full-time at 32 hours), promoting work-life balance and well-being.
  • 20 days of holiday plus additional days off over the end-of-year holiday period
  • Volunteering hours to help contribute to other organizations
  • Annual professional development budget to contribute to career development and learning
  • Monthly contributions towards health insurance, health and wellbeing, mobile and commuting to the office bills, and working from home – we believe well-being is fundamental to our mental and physical health and happiness!

Starting date: 1st of July

Working Arrangements: Hybrid – it is possible to work both from the office in Amsterdam and from home, depending on the needs and requests of the team.

Recruitment Policy

We have made it a priority to hire from a diverse pool of candidates - as we believe that a range of lived experiences, voices, and perspectives directly contributes to the success of our team. An equitable and inclusive work environment and a diverse, empowered team are key to achieving our mission. That’s why we have chosen BeApplied as our recruitment tool as it is designed to try and remove as much bias as possible from our hiring process.

  • Instead of using your CV [alone], we are asking candidates to answer questions to test the skills needed for the role. No cover letter is required.
  • The answers are then anonymized, chunked, randomized, and reviewed by team members.
  • The platform also asks some demographic questions before you start your application. We only see summary statistics to help us check if our candidate pool is balanced and if everyone has an equal chance to get hired irrespective of their background. If you prefer, you can easily opt out of answering these questions.
  • Once we have anonymously reviewed your answers, you will be contacted via email within 2 weeks with either an invitation to an interview or an email explaining why you did not receive an invite to an interview based on our review.

We understand that candidates come from a variety of backgrounds and may have differing levels of access to resources and support networks.

In an effort to democratize the application process, we acknowledge and accept the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools by candidates when preparing their application responses. We believe that AI tools can offer support and resources, particularly to those who may not have access to extensive personal or professional networks. This approach aligns with our commitment to equity, providing all candidates with an opportunity to showcase their skills and potential in a more balanced and fair manner.

However, we encourage candidates to use these tools responsibly and ethically, ensuring that the final submission is reflective of their own thoughts, experiences, and capabilities. Our assessment process is designed to evaluate the unique qualities and skills of each individual, and we value authenticity and honesty in the responses we receive.

Whether you are successful for this role or not, we will store your application and data in our system for a max period of one year from the application date in case another role becomes available that you are suitable for. If you have any questions or concerns about us storing your data and/or the period of time, please contact us at jobs@bcorporation.eu and we will answer to you within 30 days.
