We’re looking for a Trade Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the development and execution of our global customs compliance program.

In this position, you report to the Regulatory Director EMEA. You will work closely with teams across Supply Chain, Operations, Product Management, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance is seamlessly integrated across the business.

Your Impact

As the Trade Compliance Manager, you will:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive global customs compliance strategy aligned with Corbion’s operations and international regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to HS codes, tariffs, sanctions, and export control laws across our global operations.
  • Develop internal policies, processes, and tools to ensure robust import/export compliance across all business units and regions.
  • Lead audits and compliance assessments, identify risks, support external audits, and manage corrective actions.
  • Oversee complex harmonized system classifications and act as a key point of contact for government inquiries and regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, logistics, supply chain, and commercial teams to embed compliance into day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote a strong culture of compliance.
  • Support international expansion, advising on trade law implications in new markets and ventures.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Economics, or a related field – ideally with a focus on international trade law.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in trade compliance, customs management, or regulatory affairs in a multinational environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and PIM systems.
  • Strong knowledge of trade laws, export controls, and customs regulations globally.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable business practices.
  • Fluency in English is required; Spanish and one additional language are a plus.
  • A collaborative, detail-oriented communicator able to engage at all levels of the organization.
  • A strong professional network and established government relations are desirable.
  • You are able to commute to our Gorinchem (NL), Amsterdam, or Montmeló (ES) office at least 3 times per week.
