Join Our Team as a Vessel Analyst

Are you not afraid to pick up the phone and actively reach out to customers about our robotic cleaning and inspection services? Are you currently working on your master’s degree and looking for an interesting part-time job where you can learn more about the maritime world and sales? Then read on for our job opening!

With underwater inspection drones and cleaning robots, we offer our international customer base within the maritime sector unique solutions for ship maintenance, all while loading and unloading. This contributes to reducing emissions, creating a cleaner environment, and enabling more efficient sailing for our customers.

We are looking for master’s students who would like to join us as Vessel Analysts. In this role, you will work in the inside sales team, which consists of an Inside Sales Lead, two Inside Sales Specialists, and a team of other students also working as Vessel Analysts. As a Vessel Analyst, your tasks will include:

  • Analyzing incoming ships to determine if they are suitable for our services and gathering relevant information (such as contact details, docking location, etc.);
  • Actively contacting the customer based on the analysis and gathered information to offer our services via phone or email (depending on the customer’s preference);
  • If the customer responds positively and would like to receive an offer, forwarding this to the Inside Sales Specialist with all relevant information for further processing;
  • Keeping accurate records of all contacts and customer information in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree in a commercial, business, or technical field;
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English (preferably with a third language);
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly convey information and proposals both orally and in writing;
  • Ability to quickly grasp new information (e.g., about the maritime market or Salesforce).

What Do We Offer?

  • An interesting part-time job where you can learn a lot about the maritime market and international sales;
  • A salary of €17.00 gross per hour and a good bonus scheme where you will be rewarded for each converted lead;
  • Growth and development through various training opportunities (such as in the maritime sector) and good internal guidance;
  • Flexibility to set your hours on a monthly basis;
  • Fun Friday afternoon drinks and other monthly activities.
