As an SME adviser, you serve SME entrepreneurs in your area across the board. You are the face of ING in the local business market, and together with your team you do everything possible to further strengthen ING’s position as the preferred banker for entrepreneurs. With you on board, this team responds to customer needs with a personal, honest and open approach to provide customers with optimum support in achieving success. You also have an important role in proactively ensuring new business customers stay with ING. For this purpose, you enter into multidisciplinary partnerships with advisers from the ING Vermogen, Wonen, Private Banking and MidCorporate units.

The role and responsibilities

• You find out what the customer wants and advise on which products and services are most appropriate. Independently handling credit applications from start to finish is an important aspect of your job.
• You identify opportunities among prospects and proactively expand our customer base.
• You act as the face of ING SME Advice by actively maintaining and expanding your internal and external network and by being visible in the local market.

At ING Business Banking we have around 150 advisers across the country, working in 12 regions. You will work from an advisory branch, but will also regularly visit entrepreneurs on location. As an adviser, you do not have a fixed customer portfolio but step in on a transaction basis. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of around nine enthusiastic and driven colleagues at your branch. In this team, you will work together with advisers from Kantoren, Vermogen, Private Banking and Wonen according to the Agile method to bring new ideas into being fast.

This vacancy is for the Twente-Salland area. You will report to the SME Advice regional director.

Your talent

As an SME adviser, you also have the following:

• Higher Professional Education (HBO) level of professional and intellectual ability
• Five years of proven experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of business lending and acquisition, and commercial success
• Fluent in Dutch
• You live in or close to the market area

Als Adviseur Zakelijk bedien je in de volledige breedte MKB-ondernemers in jouw regio (Twente). Je bent het gezicht van ING in de lokale zakelijke markt en samen met je team doe je er alles aan om de positie van ING als huisbankier voor ondernemers verder te versterken. Met jou erbij maakt dit team zich sterk om met een persoonlijke, eerlijke en open benadering in te spelen op de klantwensen en zo onze klanten optimaal te begeleiden om succesvol te zijn. Ook heb je een belangrijke rol in het proactief binden van nieuwe zakelijke klanten aan ING. Hiervoor ga je multidisciplinaire samenwerkingen aan met adviseurs van de ING-onderdelen Kantoren, Vermogen, Wonen, Private Banking en Grootzakelijk.

De rol en verantwoordelijkheden

• Je achterhaalt klantwensen en adviseert welke producten en diensten hierbij het beste passen. Hierbij is het zelfstandig van a tot z afhandelen van kredietaanvragen een belangrijk onderdeel van je functie;
• Je signaleert kansen bij prospects en vergroot proactief onze klantenkring;
• Je bent het gezicht van ING Advies Zakelijk door actief je interne en externe netwerk te onderhouden, uit te bouwen en daarmee zichtbaar te zijn in de lokale markt.

Het team

Het Adviesteam Zakelijk van ING bestaat landelijk uit ongeveer 150 adviseurs die werkzaam zijn in 12 rayons. Je werkt vanuit een advieskantoor, maar gaat ook regelmatig langs op locatie bij ondernemers. Je hebt als adviseur geen vaste klantportefeuille, maar stapt in op transactiebasis. Binnen je kantoor maak je deel uit van een multidisciplinair team van circa 10 enthousiaste en gedreven collega’s. In dit team werk je samen met adviseurs van Kantoren, Vermogen, Private Banking en Wonen volgens de Agile-methode, zodat nieuwe ideeën snel tot leven komen. Deze vacature heeft betrekking op het marktgebied Twente-Salland. Je rapporteert aan de Rayondirecteur Advies Zakelijk.

• Minimaal HBO werk- en denkniveau;
• Minimaal 5 jaar aantoonbare ervaring in de financiële dienstverlening waarbij je kennis van zakelijke kredietverlening en acquisitie hebt opgedaan en commerciële successen hebt behaald;
• je bent woonachtig in/nabij het marktgebied Twente-Salland.
