What does your role as JS Developer look like?

We are looking for a unique programmer with the ambition to play a long-term and leading role within our team. Thanks to our growth and ambitious plans, there’s plenty to do, from short-term issues to ongoing strategic developments.

As we are a relatively small organization, in addition to having a lot to do, you will also experience a lot. You will be involved in more than just programming execution. Moreover, you have the opportunity to develop yourself strongly and opportunities to grow.

Initially, you will work closely with the management team, which partly consists of experienced programmers. However, this won’t prevent you from showing initiative and working independently. Our goal is to eventually place all programming activities under your team and your leadership.

• Good knowledge of and 2+ years personal experience coding React/Angular and NodeJS.
• Experience creating your own solutions in C/NET/PHP and/or JS in an MVC/OOP setup.
• Experience in using well known DBAL and ORM concepts.
• Experience in using modern DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and unit tests.
• PRE: Experience in using the concept of pub/sub asynchronous processing of workloads.

• Google Cloud Platform hosts all infrastructure and provides limitless, industry leading services.
• Requests are handled via serverless functions or containerized Cloud Run or App Engine instances.
• The frontend needs refactoring and is fully written in JS/AngularJS/React.
• The backend is written in PHP and NodeJS and has an easily extendable API.
• Core data is stored in MySQL and we are flexible in using Redis, Datastore and others.
• Open API in NodeJS using OAuth2/OpenIDConnect for clients, which we are migrating all users to.
• Android and iOS apps for all end users are up for a total interface and UX makeover.
• Our devops street is setup properly and enables easy extending of core and feature software.

Once you have our tech stack and your personal daily operations under control, you’ll be eager to expand. You’ll grow within our team and foresee a long-term role for yourself, where you eventually mentor your successors.
