Focus Engineering is currently looking for a Tender Engineer within the Maritime and Offshore industry in the Hague area.

The company is young and dynamic, contributes to sustainability globally, and has a flat internal culture. The organization operates worldwide and specializes in tackling complex technical challenges. They provide tailor-made solutions for the maritime and offshore industries.

The company has 40 employees and works on large engineering projects for (inter)national clients. This organization focuses on the transport and installation of offshore wind farms, FPSOs, and more. Within the organization, there are three common types of projects: early-stage development, FEED projects, and owner's engineering. Projects range in duration from 3 to 12 months and in size from EUR 1 million to EUR 2 million. Clients you will work with include Vattenfall and Total Energies.

Job description

The role of Tender Engineer involves both commercial and technical aspects. In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You are responsible for preparing and following up on various proposals;
• You are responsible for managing client relationships;
• You work closely with the Commercial Manager and Business Developer;
• You want to address the technical challenges together with the Mechanical, Structural, and Transport & Installation Engineers and translate them into commercial solutions.

Who are you?

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
• You have a strong command of the English language, both spoken and written;
• You are interested in bridging the gap between engineering and commercial aspects.
