Delft Circuits is looking for a quantum measurement engineer, with experience in cryogenic measurements, to join us in validating and improving the next generation of I/O for quantum computers. At Delft Circuits you will join a multi-disciplinary team which is passionate about creating the future of cryogenic I/O. Our high-density flexible RF wiring will enable the field to increase qubit counts while keeping strict demands on performance.

You will be responsible for making sure we have the capabilities to validate the performance of our products, ranging from the critical temperatures of superconducting film stacks to cryogenic RF calibrated measurements of I/O components.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintaining and improving (cryogenic) DC and RF measurement setups
  • Design and develop new measurement setups and techniques
  • Setting up a superconducting qubit system to validate our I/O
  • Organized data collection and analysis to support development of new products

Job requirements

  • MSc and/or PhD in Physics or related field
  • Practical experience with electronics and DC & RF measurements
  • Practical experience with cryogenics and dilution refrigerators
  • Strong programming skills (preferably Python)
  • A hands-on can-do mentality

Preferred experience

  • Measurement automatization and data analysis in Python
  • Understanding of microwave measurement techniques
  • Experience with superconducting qubit measurements
  • PCB design
