Experienced Back-end Engineer

Our platform is the canvas on which we develop and deploy our solutions. As a Back-End Engineer, you will contribute to the very core of this platform, bringing to life the functionalities that make our AI solutions robust and reliable and our development processes fluent and efficient.

Your mission will be to engineer the back-end systems that are the backbone of our AI platform. This involves a hands-on role in developing, deploying, and managing the platform's various (cloud- and edge-based) components with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and innovation.

Responsibilities

As back-end engineer you will;

• Develop full-stack solutions across all back-end systems of our AI platform. (This includes the full range of back-end techniques and frameworks such as containerization, logging, infrastructure-as-code, security, networking, DevOps & CI/CD, etc.)
• Engage in the deployment of AI models, leveraging cloud services and on-edge technologies.
• Collaborate with a team of experts to refine and enhance our development practices.
• Foster a culture of excellence in coding and system design, embodying best practices and a passion for quality.

Job Requirements

What are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate needs to have;

• 4+ years of experience in back-end development roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python (or equivalent), with a firm grasp of OOP principles and design patterns.
• An agile mindset that values collaboration, with the ability to independently drive projects to completion.
• A continuous learner, always seeking to improve and stay updated with the latest industry trends.

Additionally, it would be great if you have;

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (particularly Azure) and automation tools such as Terraform.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and an interest in AI model deployment strategies.
• Previous experience with AI frameworks and AI software engineering
• Programming experience in languages such as Kotlin, Java or related languages
