AP and Expenses Senior Accountant is responsible for processing invoices and expense claims in a timely and high-quality manner as defined by Service Level Agreements and Customer expectations. The role involves responding to assigned inquiries, resolving open items with vendors, and collaborating closely with the AP and Expenses team to seek opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring a good customer experience, and contributing to a positive working atmosphere. Additionally, the Senior Accountant supports Junior Accountants in their daily work.
Code and process invoices and expenses claims in line with procedures
Ensure that all processed documents are posted in accordance with accounting rules and legal compliance
Reverse and post correctly the documents posted with error
Handle customers' requests and inquiries
Write and maintain process documentation
Perform all activities in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs
Seek opportunities for AP process improvements and implement them
Both share and apply best practices in Accounts Payable area
Support AP and Expenses Junior Accountant with the daily tasks
Act as a Deputy for an AP and Expenses Coordinator in the delegated areas and/or tasks
Communicate with internal and external customers in an efficient and effective manner
Ensure that all relevant company’s standards and guidelines are met
Prepare and review payments proposal
English skills minimum at level B2
3-4 years of experience in Finance department will be a strong asset
Familiarity with MS Office, accounting software
