About the role

As the IT&D Senior Business Analyst, Procurement, you will lead and manage our procurement application portfolio. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a new function from the ground up, driving innovation and scalability to support Essential Home’s business strategy.

You will collaborate with procurement stakeholders, analyze business needs, and drive the implementation of IT solutions to improve supplier management, automating workflows, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. This position requires a deep understanding of purchase-to-pay (P2P), sourcing, contract management, supplier onboarding, and compliance processes.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, pragmatic and loves a challenge. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are action and result oriented.

This position will report to the IT&D Senior Manager, Procurement.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategy for Procurement (Direct and Indirect) applications.
• Partner with Procurement and Finance teams to understand business needs and translate them into IT solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, select, and implement procurement and supplier management systems (e.g. SAP Ariba) and support system integrations with ERP, Finance, and Inventory Management systems.
• Conduct process analysis and recommend technology-driven improvements.
• Define and document business requirements, workflows, and use cases.
• Align IT initiatives with procurement best practices, compliance regulations, and risk management policies.
• Lead testing, user acceptance, and deployment efforts for new systems and enhancements.

• Support procurement analytics, spend analysis, contract performance tracking, and supplier risk management.
• Assist in automation efforts to improve efficiency in purchase requisitions, approvals, and vendor negotiations.
• Monitor product performance and implement improvements to enhance user experience and satisfaction.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Procurement and Supplier Management platforms (e.g. SAP Ariba).
• Experience with purchase-to-pay (P2P), sourcing, contract management, supplier onboarding, and compliance processes.
• Hands-on experience in system implementations, integrations, and process automation.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
