To bring our Talent Strategy further within Loyens & Loeff, we are looking for a dedicated Talent Adviser. Within this role, you drive the Talent Management Strategy by creating awareness and commitment within the firm for this topic.

This role sits within our Talent & Development Center of Expertise and with your scope you hold continuous focus on the strategy and drive key initiatives, for example Performance Management, Strategic Talent Review, Succession Planning, and structuring our Talent Data in combination with our Learning & Development colleagues.

With a new Talent Strategy recently put in place it will be key to implement the key initiatives defined and ensure the embedment of talent processes in the organization of Loyens & Loeff. Reporting to the Head of Talent & Development, the Talent Adviser role is key in expanding the Talent Management landscape, making the connection with our L&D programs and mainly collaborating with our HR Business Partners to ensure we build a talent-driven culture. The Talent Advisor will be tasked with operationalizing key talent programs, helping prepare relevant Talent & Development information and gathering insights based on conversations we have with our HR Business Partners and the business.

Your responsibilities as a Talent Adviser:

  • Understand the Talent Strategy and how it connects to the current talent needs and challenges of the organization.
  • Work on programs such as the Strategic Talent Review, Performance Management Process, the Diversity & Inclusion strategy and provide professional expertise in the design and operationalization of the talent development plans.
  • Collect and utilize talent data and provide regular reporting and updates on KPI and metrics.
  • Perform benchmarks, data analysis, and gather business insights to inform and shape the talent mapping and development strategy and also being able to translate these insights to a specific business approach.
  • Hold the overview of the talents in the organization by working closely with our HR Business Partners.
  • Translate the talent & development data into our HR system (Workday), helping shape the talent relevant functionalities.
  • Provide trusted and analytics-supported insights about inflow, outflow, performance, D&I and L&D.
  • Work with the HR Business Partners to oversee the execution of Talent Development plans for key talent segments identified in the organization and steer actively on fitting sponsoring and guiding towards mentorships / learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate across the different HR and Business Support Team to drive Talent Management objectives effectively.
  • Support other Talent & Development related activities as assigned.

This vacancy suits you, because you are/have:

  • A seasoned HR professional and have 5+ years of work experience.
  • A perfect understanding of the Dutch and English language (both written and spoken); this is a mandatory requirement.
  • Excellent change management, communication and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Experience with facilitating talent discussions, HR systems, and have knowledge of performance management processes.
  • The ability to identify areas for improvement and optimize Talent Management processes.
  • Used to work in a matrix organization, across borders.
  • Able to drive a strategic vision and have the ambition to grow your ability to align Talent Management strategies with the organization's business objectives.
  • Good relationship-building skills, stakeholder management abilities and are able to advise and challenge more senior leaders effectively.
