You and your job

At Rabobank we are currently working on structurally improving the heart of our bank; the Data domain. To achieve this improvement we are looking for a Data Quality Consultant for the Global Default Data Center of Expertise for the business lines Wholesale & Rural (W&R). In this role you will work with various stakeholders within the dynamic, international and inspirational W&R business.

Practical examples

• You will play an essential role in increasing the profitability of the W&R business by lowering its capital requirements through taking on the responsibility to build and improve the global Default Data Journey.
• You are the bridge between Rabobank head office and the international W&R branches in the execution of their recently implemented Default Data processes and following of the standard approach.
• You will play a key leading role in the continuous improvement of W&R model data requirements and global operating model as well as the enhancement of the new roles and responsibilities, Default Data processes, procedures and Data Quality improvement.

Top 3 responsibilities

• You will be solving Default Data Quality issues through data and issue analysis in close collaboration with our regional W&R teams in various time zones as well as proposing data quality solutions and manage the implementation.
• You will contribute to the enhancement and development of our global Default Data Quality control framework and review Data Quality and Default client files against our Group Standard.
• You will engage with various stakeholders in the W&R Credit, Risk and data domains to ensure their better understanding of Default Data standards and requirements globally. Depending on your experience you will be given the opportunity to act as a more senior leading expert towards junior QA consultants and your regional counterparts.

You and your talent

• Academic level of thinking and working; for example a Master in Finance or Economics.
• You have at least 3 year relevant banking experience in risk/and or credit analysis.
• You have strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• You have people and communication skills.
• Adaptation skills in a changing (regulatory) and international landscape.
• Organized, eye for detail and able to maintain oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory and principles of Default Data is a plus.
• Experience in the fields of W&R and FR&R is a plus.
