Join our Analytical Science team in the R&D, Quality and Food Compliance department – where diverse minds unite to learn and thrive. As a R&D Analytical Specialist, you immerse yourself in GC (Gas Chromatography) analysis and provide guidance to project teams on analytical methods, leveraging your expertise and interpersonal skills to drive success.

Own your impact in our value chain with these key tasks.

• Serve as primary contact for GC analysis.
• In addition to performing GC analyses, you will oversee maintenance, updates, and method development to meet project requirements.
• Advise technology project teams on identifying analytical methods in JDE or with external vendors.
• Contribute to the daily operations of the Analytical lab, including a wide range of analyses, equipment maintenance, workflow improvements, and training new users as part of the Analytical Science Team.

Qualifications

WE’RE LOOKING FOR AN ANALYTICAL SCIENCE PRO 🔬

If you’re a team player with a passion for analytical science, this one’s for you! Sure, we could list a bunch of "must-haves," but we see you—not just your resume. That said, here’s what would make you a great fit:

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Science or Chemistry (aka HLO in Dutch)
✅ 5+ years of hands-on experience in Gas Chromatography (troubleshooting, method development, research—you name it!)
✅ Solid physical & chemical methodology skills—plus the know-how to advise on the right methods and manage outsourcing
✅ Experience in project-based work
✅ Up-to-date knowledge of chemical lab standards
✅ Bonus: Experience with HPLC
