Introduction
The sector Development & Engineering (D&E) of ASML is responsible for the specification, design, and realization of the products in the ASML portfolio. Within the sector D&E, the department Electronic Development (EDEV) defines, realizes, and qualifies the electronic functions and modules of these products. In the Manufacturing & Equipment Engineering Source group within EDEV, we industrialize designs of electronic solutions. We are a group of more than 25 people with various backgrounds and nationalities. One of our main challenges is to manage the complexity while having efficient processes and tools that enable it.
Your Assignment
For this assignment, identify the 'waste in manufacturing operations and processes' by using Lean methodology.
This is an apprentice internship (to gain work experience) for 5/6 months. The start date is flexible (latest starting date Sept '25). A Bachelor Thesis is possible in case of a maximum duration of 6 months.
