Where will you end up?

You will work within the Reporting Services team. The Reporting Services team empowers Robeco's Sales & Investment teams by delivering high-end, strategic, client-centric, digital, and data-driven services and reports to external as well as internal clients.

The Reporting Services team is part of the Sales, Marketing, and Reporting Value Stream. In this Value Stream, we are responsible for all Sales, Marketing, and Client Services applications and (ESG) Reporting. The ambition of the Value Stream is to further build and expand our capabilities in the Sales, Marketing, and Client Services domains to ensure the Value Stream remains the go-to reliable partner for delivering high-value solutions.

Position & Requirements

Position

In this position, you will play a crucial role in translating business requests into technical solutions within an Agile environment. You will report directly to the Manager Reporting Services and work closely with (all three) cross-functional teams, and other value streams, to design epics and features that align with our strategic objectives. Examples of new requests are: the use of centralized tooling, setting up new tools for business purposes, integrate AI generated content in our reporting, but also cost efficiency and simplification.

Responsibilities

• Developing comprehensive architectural designs that address our business needs and technical requirements.
• Ensuring that the solutions built within our team are aligned with Robeco’s IT strategy and architectural standards.
• Serve as a liaison between the teams and the architects, ensuring the technological solution meets business needs.
• Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including solution blueprints and technical specifications.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Alignment with the other solution architects in the Value Stream and the Enterprise Architects.

Candidate profile

• You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science;
• 1-3 years working experience in an Agile or Scrum environment;
• Proficiency in architectural frameworks and methodologies;
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and enterprise integration patterns;
• Experience with microservices architecture and API management;
• Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex business and technical requirements;
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business units, IT, and external vendors;
• Experience in guiding projects from inception through implementation;
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
