Purpose of the job

At Deco NL, we’re all about innovation, collaboration, and excellence in procurement. As part of our commercial operational team, we’re looking for a Buyer PFR who can drive strategic purchasing decisions, manage supplier relationships, and optimize our procurement processes.

Your Role,

As a Buyer PFR, you’ll be the backbone of our purchasing operations. You’ll work closely with category managers, suppliers, and stakeholders to develop long-term purchasing strategies that boost volume growth and margin management. Your responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Procurement: Develop long-term sourcing strategies and lead category planning.
  • Supplier & Contract Management: Maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure legal compliance.
  • Inventory & Forecasting: Oversee stock levels, prevent obsolete inventory, and optimize forecasting.
  • Data & Pricing Analysis: Analyze pricing trends, recommend adjustments, and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Lead and support procurement projects, ensuring smooth operations and continuous optimization.

What you bring

  • Educational Background: A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field. NEVI I or II certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven expertise in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch and English is essential for effective communication with suppliers and stakeholders.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
