Introduction
Do you get energy from a dynamic position within operations in which you have contact with different internal and external stakeholders? Do you like the challenge of getting the job done within a short timeslot and being able to do the impossible? Do you get energy from defining and implementing improvements you see in your daily operation? Then this might be the job for you!
Job Mission
Ensure successful delivery of all transport tooling for all upgrade, relocations and installation events, even if it is a short-term planning that seems undoable. Contribute to the supply chain team to ensure that the (thousands of) high-tech parts are delivered on-time, on-spec and at the right quality at the customer site. Meet the delivery requirements that have been agreed with the customers and ASML's engineering team. Define, work out and implement improvements you encounter within your operational job.
ASML’s Supply Chain is continuously aiming to better serve ASML’s customers, for example by providing complex upgrade services at the site of the client. During these events, a significant part of the machine is replaced by modules that allow for increased output and enhanced specifications. These on-site upgrade activities create extremely demanding requirements for the supply chain processes, driven by the sensitivity of the parts (cleanroom handling only), the strict needs to minimize machine downtime and the constantly changing specifications of machines. The goal is to establish a true “field factory” set-up that allows the engineers to perform the installation with maximum efficiency and minimum downtime.
All these processes ultimately enable ASML’s clients to continue improving the performance of the laptops, tablets, and smartphones that we use.
Job Description
In this role, you are responsible for the operational supply of our transport modules towards the different demand parties of ASML. You will be the first point of contact for the supplier and the internal and external demand parties to get the latest information about short-term deliveries and long-term planning. On top of that, you are responsible for resolving material escalations.
