Your role

  • Review bid documents
  • Prepare a preliminary work plan, discuss with the Proposals Manager and decide on actions to be taken
  • Distribute the bid documents to other departments within Allseas and/or subcontractors
  • Co-ordinate activities of other departments within Allseas and/or subcontractors during the bid phase and ensure timely completion
  • Review scope of work and specifications from the invitation to tender and prepare qualifications
  • Review all relevant documents from other departments within Allseas and/or subcontractors for correctness and suitability to the bid requirements
  • Evaluate bid submissions from subcontractors and prepare evaluation for review by the Proposals Manager
  • Decide on selection of technical qualifications and compile technical sections of bid
  • Compile proposal back-up file
  • In the event of contract award, compile project hand-over file

What we expect from you

  • BSc or MSc degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ offshore installation experience, ideally heavy lift and/or pipeline installation
  • Extensive experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Good communicator, building and developing relationship with counterparts in client organisations and other external parties
  • Ability to assign priorities
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Self-motivated
  • Willingness to travel
