The objective of the Personal Banking Grid (department) is to ensure that each of their visits is not only secure, but also a personal and smooth experience. We are looking for a Reliability Engineer, who can help us serve our clients even better. Curious to hear more? Then continue reading! 

Your job as … 

As a Reliability Engineer at our grid, you play a key role in realising ABN AMRO's strategy of being a personal bank in a digital age. With your interdisciplinary team, you are responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high available and performant systems. You work on, for example, our automation framework, design and development. Moreover, you will work on our telemetry systems

We follow the Scrum framework and believe in a DevOps approach. We focus on solid principles that provide teams with autonomy and purpose in their work. Must have:  

  • Strong expertise in Backend development in Cloud native environment
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Ansible
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes
  • Deep understanding in security best practices in cloud development

Good to have: 

  • Experience on developing monitoring and telemetry systems
  • Knowledge of Azure bicep programming language
  • A GitHub personal link with your own projects on contributions
  • A broad interest in the industry best practices
