If this sounds appealing to you, then working at Cefetra might be a perfect fit for you!

Working in Cefetra's tax team as a Tax Compliance Specialist means that you will provide support with all internal and external compliance-related matters. You will also support the business in the implementation of projects such as e-invoicing, e-reporting, and new business development.

You are

Most important is that you can be critical and precise, but also pragmatic when needed. To be successful within Cefetra, it is important to have a 'self-starter' mentality, to be open-minded and curious. You should be able to work both independently and with people from all levels within the Cefetra Group. You should also be able to identify with the following requirements:

  • Your educational background is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in fiscal law or fiscal economics;
  • You have relevant experience with VAT compliance;
  • Experience (and/or interest in developing yourself) in the area of VAT (and/or customs) legislation in the EU is a plus;
  • You have an excellent command of both Dutch and English (both verbally and written); any other languages are always a plus;
  • You will be available for at least 32 hours per week;
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit, matching our company culture, and are highly motivated to succeed.

Our offer

A unique opportunity to help grow Cefetra and join a dynamic team within an existing multinational. We are always open for a conversation to discuss your individual needs, but please note we offer the following:

  • Flexible working hours and hybrid working as well as interesting learning and development opportunities;
  • An excellent package of primary & secondary working conditions. Of course, a good base salary, holiday allowance, an attractive bonus, and 28 vacation days;
  • An office that is located at one of the most beautiful locations in central Rotterdam with a view over the Maas and Erasmus bridge with plenty of social activities and excellent coffee.
