The job
You will be primarily responsible for the indirect tax compliance of several Cefetra Group companies that have multiple EU VAT registrations. Approximately 75% of the work is compliance-related, the rest being customs and general VAT (advice/system) related issues. The team consists of three professionals and is based in our Rotterdam office with a great view of the Maas River and the Erasmus Bridge. Working in Cefetra's tax team as a Tax Compliance Specialist means that you will provide support with all internal and external compliance-related matters. The VAT returns are mainly outsourced, but you will manage this VAT process. You will also support the business in the implementation of projects such as e-invoicing, e-reporting, and new business development.
