The job
You will be primarily responsible for customs of several Cefetra Group companies. The team consists of three professionals and is based in our Rotterdam office with a great view of the Maas River and the Erasmus Bridge. Working in Cefetra's tax and customs team in the role of customs specialist means that you will provide support and advice on all customs-related matters. This means that you will be responsible for customs-related topics as part of a wider tax control framework as well as overseeing customs-related compliance and customs permit management. You will also support the business with new product-related topics such as origin determination and commodity code classification. Cefetra’s customs (import) declarations are outsourced to external customs brokers. You will be assisting with customs broker management. Finally, you will support the business with the implementation of projects such as EUDR as well as new business development.
