Purpose of Role

Recruiting is a key component to the success of Under Armour. The Contract Recruiting Lead is responsible for owning own full-cycle recruitment and sourcing for entry to mid-sr. level roles within all Corporate functions (i.e., Finance, Human Resources, Legal, DTC, Sales, Merchandising and more) in the EMEA region across our different countries (The Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, the UK, …). In this position, your accountability focuses on delivering against Under Armour’s hiring goals.

This role is critical to ensuring we attract and hire top talent for various positions, especially those that are high-volume and difficult to fill.

Your Impact

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process for a high volume of REQs from initiation to the employment offer, ensuring a smooth process for candidates & hiring managers throughout
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriate skills, experience, and knowledge-based on position requirements
  • Source, engage and activate diverse, passive candidates using Boolean, LinkedIn, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and alternative, unique search techniques
  • Leverage data & analytics to advise businesses on diverse sourcing strategies and ensure pipelines are inclusive of diverse representation
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine fit for current or future opportunities
  • Prepare candidates and set expectations appropriately for interviews by providing detailed information on the company, business unit they’re interviewing with, and job description details
  • Maintain positive relationships with candidates throughout their entire recruitment process to ensure a high-quality candidate experience on behalf of Under Armour
  • Organize and act upon post-interview feedback to drive hiring decisions and provide appropriate and timely follow-up to candidates
  • Advise hiring leader, and business partners on compensation structure for identified candidates
  • Manage the offer process from start to finish including presenting the verbal and written offer to the candidate, highlighting Under Armour’s Benefits, and onboarding the new teammate once they have accepted the offer
  • Ensure that the hiring process and hiring managers comply with Under Armour policies and procedures and with employment laws and regulations
  • Assist in talent mapping & workforce planning projects for recurring and complex openings where talent gaps exist within the organization
  • Present pipeline / requisition updates to HRBP’s weekly, identifying any opportunities where more of their support is needed.
  • As a part of the Human Resources division at Under Armour, this role will work on new and existing Talent focused projects tied to how we attract, assess, and hire external and internal teammates.
  • Execute Diversity & Inclusion recruitment strategy in partnership with HRBPs and DE&I leaders.
  • Develop relationships, educate, and consult with hiring managers on hiring process, recruiting strategy, and setting appropriate expectations.
  • Drive a consistent post-interview feedback processes promoting a structured approach to hiring decisions and provide appropriate and timely follow up to candidates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or master’s degree with typically 6 years of relevant experience or typically 12 years of relevant work experience without degree.
  • Full cycle recruiting experience, with at least one year of in-house corporate recruiting experience supporting hiring at entry-level to mid-level (i.e., Sr. Manager and below).
  • Demonstrated ability to perform full-life cycle recruiting on a variety of different types of roles and levels while managing competing priorities and recruitment-related projects
  • Experience supporting functions such as Corporate Retail including Planning & Merchandising, Marketing, and other support functions (Finance, Human Resources & Legal)
  • High competency with candidate sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and ability to quickly learn and adopt new technology as required
  • Experience in managing corporate recruiting across multiple countries in EMEA.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills in an environment with competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of recruiting assessment tools and techniques, and the ability to use data to tell a story about results and impact
  • Proven ability to effectively build and maintain relationships internally, across all levels of the organization, and externally with candidates
  • Demonstrated ability to discover, organize, and present relevant market data to influence Hiring Managers and HR Partners as a talent advisor
  • Excellent organizational and strong interpersonal & communications skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to be trusted with sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience working with current best practices and familiarity with industry trends in functional areas
  • Proven experience partnering with and influencing hiring managers and HRBPs as a talent advisor.
  • Proven ability to source, engage and close passive candidates on niche roles.
