Achmea Innovation Fund (AIF) is looking for an innovative intern with a fresh perspective. Achmea has allocated a budget of €100 million to financially support startups within Achmea's focus areas: smart mobility, health, carefree living & working, and income for now, later, and beyond. The budget will also be used to help realize new technologies with the aim of:

• Accessing emerging and competitive business models;
• Providing more insight into new technology for customers and channels;
• Ensuring financial benefits for Achmea.

The startups targeted by AIF have a clear growth path and business model, as well as a driven management team. The geographic focus is Europe and Israel, with startups needing to have (potential) connections to the Dutch market. The investments range from €500k to €5 million, making a significant impact!

As an intern, you will assist in identifying interesting investment opportunities, conduct research on focus areas, and manage various aspects of the investment process. This includes:

• Conducting market and competition analyses;
• Preparing presentations;
• Evaluating business plans on financial, strategic, and commercial bases;
• Assisting in the transaction process, including conducting due diligence, validating, and preparing investment proposals;
• Assisting in further developing our investment theses on specific focus areas.

We are a team that consists of five international investment professionals and a general administrative employee. As part of our AIF team you get the opportunity:

• to work at a strategic level for a major Dutch corporate in the area of innovation and (Corporate) Venture Capital;
• to develop your skills in Venture Capital, startups and innovation;
• to take on responsibility from day-one in a small team.

Jouw achtergrond

• You are looking for an internship and are in a later stage of a financial-economic education such as Finance, Financial Management, Economics, Econometrics;
• You are highly ambitious and strive to achieve the best possible results;
• You possess a responsible and innovative mindset and enjoy adapting to new trends and developments;
• You take initiative willingly and can effectively collaborate with various types of people;
• You have extensive experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Reiskostenvergoeding

Reiskostenvergoeding als je geen studenten OV hebt.
