As a Technical Consultant, you focus on the technical and logistical deployment of cloud-based solutions that meet client’s business needs, primarily developing ServiceNow modules and/or Web Services to exchange data between ServiceNow and other technology systems using programming best practices. You will be responsible for requirement scoping, tool configuration, solution development and achieving technical milestones throughout the lifecycle. You can identify risks and report them in a timely manner, have good communication with the project team, and have the ability to work without constant direction or supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement Service Catalog workflows, ITIL processes, ITAM modules within ServiceNow platform and integrations with external systems
  • Implement technology specific best practices and standards
  • Design and develop extensions to ServiceNow data model in support of requirements towards AMDB and CMDB, SACM and other modules
  • Review and refine designs for usability, review testing scenarios and refine test cases, to ensure applications quality and work with users to review test results to ensure they meet expected results
  • Provide 2nd/3rd level ServiceNow support, resolve incidents/enhancements/defects writing, debugging and testing using a mix of JavaScript and server-side Java
  • Produce and maintain detailed system documentation, including design specs, solution proposed, unit testing, tech notes, etc
  • Instruct, assign, review the work of other team members, including the review of high-level designs, detail designs, code, and test plans and results
  • Follow up on outstanding client needs and provide timely status reports to their lead
  • Assist in the scoping of new opportunities and design tools and techniques to deliver efficiently
  • Ensure each artifact produced, each configured technical component, and all personal interactions are of the highest quality
  • Communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

  • Graduated software engineer, electronic engineer, technician, technologist or related education certificate
  • Proven experience in one additional product lines outside Sys Admin Foundations v3 preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in General Consulting, Service Management, Software Development
  • 2+ years of platform configuration experience with a demonstrable portfolio of multiple platform successes
  • Web development background: JavaScript, HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks
  • ServiceNow Experience
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator is a must
  • Experience in Agile development environment
  • Software development life cycle management
  • Analytical Thinking / Problem-Solving
  • Fluent English, Dutch is nice to have
