Finance Internship: Support the Inventory & Manufacturing Team

Introduction

ASML is an innovation leader in the semiconductor industry. We provide microchip makers with everything they need – hardware, software, and services – to mass produce patterns on silicon through lithography. ASML's inventory and manufacturing team is part of ASML's business service, specifically the finance branch. The team looks at the financials and actuals of the ASML worldwide inventory.

Your Assignment

All ASML warehouses with a 3rd party logistic will migrate to a new warehouse management system. You, as the intern, will help with the worldwide roll-out of the new warehouse management system from a finance perspective. You will support the inventory & manufacturing team with their tasks and projects.

Key deliverables include:

• Aligning with stakeholders all over the world and from different departments before and during implementation of the new warehouse management system.
• Performing financial tests in the new warehouse management system for all ASML storage locations that will be subject to the implementation. The new system needs to be financially correct for all locations.
• Performing financial tests over the stock transfers when going from one warehouse management system to another warehouse management system.

This is a bachelor or master apprentice internship for a minimum of 5 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 days on-site). The preferred start date of this internship is as soon as possible, but the team is flexible for a start date in September 2025.

Your Profile

To be a perfect fit for this assignment, you:

• Have a background in finance, business administration, international business, or something related;
• Have basic accounting knowledge, it is a plus if you have experience in working in a financial corporate environment;
• Have great communication skills in English;
• Are pro-active, 'self-propelling' way of working and able to operate within a dynamic environment.

Other requirements you need to meet

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you’re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
