Product Management Consultant

Does this sound like you?

Are you passionate about product management and digital transformation? Do you thrive in environments where you can lead change, coach teams, and embed a product-led mindset across organizations? Can you confidently bridge the gap between business and technology, ensuring that teams align with user needs while executing bold strategies?

What would be the impact & purpose of your role?

As a Product Management Consultant, you’ll be at the forefront of helping our clients reinvent how they create and deliver value to their customers. You’ll guide organizations through meaningful transitions that impact their product strategy, processes, and people. Your work will directly contribute to building more customer-centric, agile, and effective product organizations that can thrive in today’s rapidly changing market.

Working across diverse industries with top-500 companies in Europe, you’ll collaborate with client leadership teams, product managers, and development teams. Your work will be challenging, engaging, and dynamic – hosting workshops to establish product visions, conducting coaching sessions with product managers, designing training programs and being the (co-)trainer, and helping product leaders implement product operating models. Through these varied responsibilities, you’ll not only drive immediate improvements but also build lasting capabilities that continue to benefit clients long after your work is complete.

Your Role in Driving Change

  • Design and tailor transformation approaches to each client’s unique context, including developing new (product) operating models and creating practical transition plans from current to desired states
  • Guide transformation initiatives that help clients adopt modern product management practices and organizational structures
  • Facilitate strategic alignment between product vision, business goals, and team execution, including cross-team coordination on integrated roadmaps and resolving systemic impediments
  • Serve as an interim product leader when needed, demonstrating effective approaches, driving immediate results, and positively influencing stakeholders at all levels (lead by example)
  • Coach product leaders and teams on best practices, methodologies, and mindsets to elevate their capabilities
  • Design and deliver training to build product management capabilities across client organizations
  • Measure and communicate the impact of transformation initiatives in terms meaningful to client leadership

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Expert-level product management capabilities including: strategic vision development, backlog management and prioritization techniques, complex stakeholder alignment across organizational levels, and iterative, experimental approaches to value delivery in challenging environments
  • Knowledge of multiple product development, agile, and project management frameworks and methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing product teams
  • Experience working across multiple teams, including facilitating cross-team alignment on integrated roadmaps, maintaining continuous alignment during execution, and identifying and resolving systemic impediments
  • Experience implementing change across multiple teams (such as way of working, governance models, or product ownership structures)
  • Proven ability to measure and demonstrate the business impact of product initiatives
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with and positively influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Dutch language proficiency (working level)

How can you grow with us?

You’ll have the opportunity to take on increasingly complex transformations and high-impact assignments, all while mentoring medior consultants and developing your expertise in large-scale product transformations. As you grow, you’ll establish yourself as a thought leader through speaking engagements and writing opportunities, all while contributing to the expansion of our product proposition and helping build new, innovative offerings that drive success.
